The amount of customization available varies for each car model. It offers customization options for about 65 different car types.
TransFender is a play on the word "transgender".
Come-A-Lot, Las Venturas: opens after Learning to Fly. Doherty, San Fierro: opens after Are You Going to San Fierro?. Temple, Los Santos: opens after Cesar Vialpando. A Nitrous system is available in 3 different "strengths", 2×, 5×, and 10× (these options indicate how many times you would be able to use a nitro "boost"). Most items will vary depending on the vehicle, but wheels cost $620 to $1560, custom paint jobs are $500, stereo upgrade is $100, and a hydraulics system is $1500. Many items can be purchased and/or upgraded at these garages Paint Jobs, Vents, Hood, Exhaust, Spoilers, Lights, Nitrous, Roof, Wheels, Stereo, and Hydraulics. In GTA San Andreas, each garage opens at certain times in the storyline, due to the islands being locked, or, in Los Santos' case, the mission has not been reached. Bear in mind that all sales are final, and you can’t resell your vehicle.Main articles: TransFender, Loco Low Co., and Wheel Arch Angels. New vehicles and some modifications like new chrome rims are available during in-game flash sales for a reduced price. Upgrading a car to its peak performance should be expected to cost at least $200,000, depending on the player’s aesthetic preferences. Visual upgrades will be reflected in the car model, but won’t be applied permanently until you actually buy them. 
The ratings bars are labeled “Top Speed,” “Acceleration,” “Braking,” and “Traction.”
Performance enhancing upgrades will show their effectiveness on the ratings bars underneath the list of customization bars. For improved gameplay, you can purchase turbocharging (for faster speed and acceleration), armor and bulletproof tires. Scroll over the various options until you find what you most prefer, then select it. For instance, when respraying a vehicle, possible subcategories include “Primary Color,” “Secondary Color,” “Metallic,” “Matte,” “Pearlescent,” etc. 
The categories include “Transmission,” “Turbo,” and “Brakes.” Some of these categories are further divided into subcategories. Select the categories of modifications you want to make, then click on the modifications to purchase them.
